Cataloging Department Maunal
"RUSH" AND "RESERVE" MATERIALS
I. Procedure.
1. "Rush" materials are processed for member of the college community, and "Reserve" materials are for faculty members.
2. A form letter is sent to the faculty member by email, informing of the availability of the material that is requested.
3. The Order Slip is noted with date, name and department. Two copies of the Slip are made, one routed with the material, and one kept with the staff in Cataloging Dept.
4. The processed material is brought out to Circulation in the waiting area for members requesting the materials.
