 BINDERY BOOKS

  
I. Processing.
 
1.  Bindery books upon their return from the bindery are checked back in.
2.  They are stamped again and assigned to new barcodes if needed.
3.  The old barcode which is usually written on the slip inserted in the book is then replaced by new barcode. Check item record for any other barcodes that appear.
4.  New labels are then made.
5.  Labels are attached to the books and label protectors overlaid.
6.  Books are then routed to circulation to be shelved.
7.  Edit bibliographic record if needed.
